table coFporstion, has petitioned the"Council of the City of Bakers-
field"for s cancellation of the tax assessments-on Block 413 B of the
City o~ Bakers~ie~d,-together with improvements and personajl property
thereon, for the years 1950-51, 1951'-52 'and 1959-53', and-
~EREAS, it has been found .~nd determined 'that ~ercy Hospital,
Baker.sfield-, is not used or operated by the owner or by any other
person for profit,.'and has not operated for .profit for'the. years 1950-
51, 1951-52, 1952-53, and, therefore, shOUld be exempt from such tax
assess~6~t~° under "~elfare zxemption,'r Section 214 of Revenue and
TaXation bode.

Bakersfield,'-"~at ~iercy tlospita!, Bakersfield, 'be and' the' same is hereby
exempt from tax assessments on Block 413.B of the City 'of Bakersfield,
_together. with improvements and. personal property thereon, for the years
1950-51, 1951-52. and 1952-53.
I HEEBY CLHTIFY that the foregoing ResolU'6ion was passed

meeting thereof .held on the 12th day of January, 1953, by the following
