RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT
IN THE MATTER OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 690.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, did, on the
26th day of June, 1952, file with the City Clerk of said City,
an assessment to represent the cost and expense of the work and
improvement done and made by C. L. Hatper, dba L. A. Sewer Service,
Contractor, pursuant to proceedings had and taken by said City,
under and pursuant to Resolution Of Intention No.1 690 adopted the
4th day of February, 1952, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City duly gave notice by
publication, posting and mailing. in the time and manner provided
by law, of the filing of said assessment and of the time and place
set for hearing'thereon, which time and place were fixed in said
notices as the 21st day of July, 1952, at the hour of eight (8)
o,clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Bakersfield,
C al i forni a, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield has
received evidence, oral and documentary concerning said assessment
and the proper completion of the work and improvement for which the
same was issuede
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield that the said assessment and the diagram and warrant
attached thereto, the proceedings leading up to the same and all
acts and determinations of all officers of the City of Bakersfield
in relation theretO, be and'the same are hereby ratified and con-
firreed and the Superintendent of Streets is hereby ordered to deliver
said warrant, assessment and diagram Go C. L. Harper, dba L. A.
Sewer Service, the contractor, forthwith upon the-payment by him
of the incidental expenses due thereon.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of July, 1952, by
the following vote:
