A RESOLUTION. OF THE COUNCILOF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD', ORDERING THE VACATION OF
AN ALLEY IN BLOCK .lO, KRUSE TRACT, CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, CALiFORI~ IA.
The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant
to the'provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 194t," being
Division 9 of the Streets snd Highways .Code of the State of Cali-
fornia, does ~hereby resolve as'follows:
1.~ 'That the public interest and convenience ~equire, and
it isI.·.hereby ordered that an alley, to wit:
All of that certain alley extending northerly and
southerly between Lot 14 on the west and Lots 15 and
161 on the east, in Block 10, Kruse Tract,' as said Lots
l~, 15 and 16 and said Block l0 are shown and delineated
-on the "Map of the First Subdivision of .the Kruse Tract
in the City of Bakersfield, Kern County, 'California,"
recorded on. Page 30in Book 2 of Maps on August 3,· 1911,·
in the office of the County Recorder of Kern Co .unty,
California, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said Lot 14,
thence easterly along the prolongation ea~sterly of the
northerly. boundary line of said'Lot 14 a distance of
15 feet to the northwesterly corner of said Lot 15;
'.'.thence southerly along the westerly boundary line of
said Lots 15 and 16 to its point of· intersection with
the northerly right of way' line of the Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe R. R., as same is shown and delin-
eated on aforesaid Map of the Kruse 'Tract; thence
westerly ~along said northerly right Of way line to its
pqint of intersection with the easterly boundary line
of said Lot l~; thence northerly. alOng last described
boundary line to the point of beginning,
b·e and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public
street purposes, subject to and in Conformity .with Resolution of
intention No. 694, adopted by the Council of said City on the 17th
day of March, 1952. Reference to Said Resolution of Yntention is
hereby made for further particulars.~
2. The' City Clerk shall certify 'to the passage of this Reso-
lution,· and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution attested.
by the Clerk under the seal of. the City, l'-to be recorded in the. office
of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City bf BakerSfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 7~h day 6f April', 19~2, by the following
vote:
