A RESOLUTION ABOLISHING LIBRARY FUND
N0.23 AND TRANSFERRING MONEYS REMAIN-
ING THEREIN TO CITY COUNCIL UNAPPLIED
APPROPRIATIONS FUND.
WEEAS, there is remaining in Library Fund No. 23, the
sum of $261.13, which fund was originally designated for ths p~-
ment of expenses of operating a free public library and reading
room~ and
WHEREAS, said City no longer operates a free public library
and reading room, but such function is now performed by the County
of Kern, and all expenses heretofore incurred by City in performing
said function have been paid and there are no charges outstanding
against said library fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City. of Bakersfield that said Library Fund No. 23 be and the same
is hereby abolished and the aforesaid sum of $261.13 remaining in
said fund be and the same is hereby transfered to Fund 11-025
General Fund, City Council-Unapplied Appropriations.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that ths foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of January, 1952, by the follow~
