WHEREAS, the Chief Building Inspector, by letter dated December 7, 1951, addressed to the City Attorney and filed with this Council, has requested authorization to destroy certain public records designated therein, and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given his consent in writing to such destruction, and WHEREAS, such records have served their purposes and are no longer required, and WHEREAS, it appears that the records which the Chief Build- ing Inspector desires to destroy are more than five years old and of the type permitted to be destroyed pursuant to the provisions of Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California, authorization is hereby given to the Chief Building Inspector to destroy the public records designated in his letter filed with this Council. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day of December, 1951, by the following vote: AYES: Cr~!'::,V:::, '-~"".
