WHEREAS, by Resolution passed and ad ted by 'this Council
on the 25th day of April, 1949, a special subdivision of the
General Fund, designated as GENERAL FUND - ~USEMENT TAX was
created, said subdivision to include all moneys collected by and
paid to the City of Bakersfield under and by virtue of the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 754 New Series,' and
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of said re'solution,
the legality of said Ordinance No. 754 New Series was being tested,
and the moneys collected thereunder were in litigation, but since
said time the legality of said ordimance has been upheld, and
there is no longer any necessi.t~ 'to hold such money separate from
other moneys in the General.. 'Fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE' IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Bakersfield tha~ the aforesaid resolution of April 25, 1949,

be and the same is h~reby rescinded, s~ d special subdivision of
the General Fund ~own as GENERAL FUND - AMUSEMENT TAX be and the
same is hereby ab61ished, and it is ordered that all moneys now
carried in said s~ecial subdivision be henceforth carried in the
General Fund, ~d all moneys heretofore or hereafter collected by
and/or paid ~ the City of Bakersfield under and pursuant to the
provisions ~Sf said Ordinance No. 754 New Series be paid into said
