A RESOLUTION FIXING THE SALARIES OF
CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. This resolution is passed and adopted pursuant to the
provisions of sections 8 (f)~.and 8.1 of Ordinance No. 879 New
Series as amended.
2. Effective September 1, 1951, the following named officers
and employees of the City of Bakersfield shall be placed in the
steps in the salary schedules to which their respective positions
are allocated by the provisions of Ordinance No. 879 New Series
as amended, indicated below, and shall be paid the monthly salaries
indicated below for services performed for the City of Bakersfield,
on and after September 1, 1951, until such time as they advance
to the next step in their respective schedules pursuant to the
provisions of said ordinance:

3, The City Cotuacil of the City of Bakersfield .hereby finds
and determines that its action taken by the passage of this resolution
is Justified by the nature of the positions'held .by the aforementioned
officers and. employees and the individual capabilities ana experience
of each, and is in conformity with the objects' and purposes of the ·
basic salary plan.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council ofI the City of B'akersfield at a regular
