'A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING J. HOLFELDER, CITY
ENGINEER, AS THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF
THE CITY TO EXECUTE MINOR CHANGES IN AGREE-
RENT FOR MAINTENANCE'OF STATE. HIGHWAYS IN CITIES.
WEEAS, Section 2 of .that certain Agreement dated june 19, 1950,
by and between the City of Bak~Sfield and the State of Cslifornia,
Department of Public Works,Division of Highways, for maintenance of
state 'highways in the. City Of Bakersfield, provides that Sections 21
and 22 thereof may be modified.'~by consent of the respective parties
acting by and through their ad'~horized representatives, and
WHEREAS, J. Holfelder, City Engineer, being in charge of the
work of the City provi'ded for in said agreement, is the city official
best qualified· to pass on proposed modifications of Sections 21 and
22 of said agreement, and shoufd be designated by this Council as the
City of Bakersfield:.s' representative to execute said modification
agreement s..
NOW, THEREF.ORE, BE. IT,RES0LVED by the City CoUncil of the City
of Bakersfield that ~;' Holfelder, City Engineer, be and·he is hereby
designated. as the authori~.e.d'~'representative of' the City of Bakersfield
to execute on behalf of said,.City agreements modifying Sections 21
andZ0r 22 of the aforesaid agreement of June 19, 1950, as provided
in Section 2 of said 'agreement.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held .on the 6th day of. August, 19~l, by the following vote:
