HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 38-51 Audito~-!:~f the City of Bakersfield, by letter WHEREAS, the City dated July 20,+ 1951, filed with this C0tLncil, h~s requested authoriza- tion to destroy certain public records designated therein~ and '* WHEREAS, the City Attor~e~'.!has given his consent in writing to such de struction, and WHEREAS, such records have served theirspurPoses and are no lo~er required, and WHEREAS, 'it appears that the records which the City Auditor desires to destroy are more than five years old and of the type per- miLLed to be destroyed pursuant to the provisions of Section 3~090 of the Government Code of the State of California; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HES0LVED that pursuant to the provisions of Scotion 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California, authoriziatton is hereby given to the City Auditor to 'destroy the public records designated in his letter filed with this Council.
