A RESOLUT 0N OF COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, ORDERING THE VACATION OF
AN ALLEY IN .BLOCK 168 IN THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, 'I CALIFORNIA.
The COuncil of the City ef Bakersfield, California, put-
suant to the provisions' of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being
Division 9 of the Streets md~:~ighWays Code of the State of Cali-
fornia, does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience require, and
it is hereby ordered that an. alley, to wit:
All of thatI certain~ alley extending northerly
and seutherly through Block 168 in the City
of Bakersfield, 'California, as said alley is
more particularly described in a deed of convey-
ance from the I~.,rn' County Land Company, a cor-
poration, duly organized and existing under and
by virtue of the laws of the State of California,
to the City of Bakersfield, California, dated

~uly 21~, 19 4, and filed for record in the of ice
of tb~ County Recorder of Kern County, California,
on July 30, 1914, on Page 292 in Book 292 of Deeds,
be and-the same is hereby closed up, vacated .and abandoned for public
street purposes, subject to and in conformity with and subject to
the reservations and exceptions contained in and contemplated by
Resolution of Intention No. 688, adopted by the Council of said City
on the 18th 'day of June, 1951. Reference to' said Resolution of
Intentien is hereby made for further particulars.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage .of this Reso-
lution, and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the. foreoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 9th day of July, 1951, by the following
