IN THE CITY OF BAtCERSPIELO, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that this City Council initiate
special assessment Iproceedings for the acquisition of all land
necessary for the opening and extension of 26th Street between the
Southern Pacific Compsny,~ gravel pit spur track right of way and
the U. S. Segregation Line, in the City of Bakersfield, California,
which proceedings shall be and are hereby designated as Public
ImProVoment District No. 687, and
WEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted to this Council
for approval a plat indicating the land necessary to be taken for
the proposed improvement, and by a boundary line, the territory
proposed to be included in the assessment district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield that the aforesaid plat consisting of one sheet,
entitled "Plat Showing Proposed 26th Street Opening Between S.P.
Gravel Pit Spur Right of Way and the U S Segregation Line" be
and the same is hereby 'approved.
I EREBY CER%~FY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City .of Bakersfield at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the 14th day of May, 19~l, by the following vote:
