OF CERTAIN PUBLIC ,RECORDS.
NO. 30-50
WHEREAS~ the City Assessor and City Auditor of the City of
Bakersfield by letters dated August 28~ and August 31, 19~0~ respec-
tively~ filed with this Council, have requested authorization to
destroy certain public records designated therein; and
WHERE.AS~ the City Attorney has given his consent in writing to
such destruction; and.
WHEREAS~ such records have served their purposes and are no
longer required; and
WHEREAS~ it appears that the records which the City Assessor
'and City ,Auditor desire to be destroyed are more than five years old
and of the type permitted to be destroyed pursuant to the provisions
of Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLV~ that pursuant to the provisions
of Section 34090 of the Government Code of the State of California~
authorization is hereby given to the City .Assessor and City Auditor
to destroy the public records designated in their letters filed with
this Council.
