' RESOLUTION ORDERING. TRANSFER OF MONEYS
FROM CASH BASIS FUAND TO CAPITAL OUTLAY FUND
FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING THE CONSTRUC-
TION 0FA NE~V FIRE HOUSE.
WHEREAS, there is in the Cash Basis Fund a sum in
excess of the minimum requirements of Section ~8 of the City
Charter, and in excess of the sum required to keep the running
expenses of the City on a cash basis, and
'WHEREAS, the City has received bids for the construc-
tion of a new fire house at Fourth and L Streets, and
WHEREAS, it is in .the best public interest that a con-
tract be awarded and construction initiated on said fire house at
the earliest possible date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that it is hereby ordered tha~ the sum of
$60,6~.00 be and the same is hereby transferred from the Cash
Basis Fund to the Capital Outlay Fund for the purpose of financing
the construction of said fire house at Fourth and L Streets, in
accordance with the specifications heretofore approved by this
Council.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of May, 1950, by
the following vote:
