RESOLUTION APPOINTING PERSON TO PERFORN
THE DUTIES OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT IN THE
MATTER OF MJBLIC IMPROVEMIENT DISTRICT N0. 675.
~S, J. Holfelder, Superintendent of Streets of the
City of Bakersfield, will be absent from the City of Bakersfield
for an extended time, commencing April 18, 1950, and will not be
present to perform the duties imposed upon him by law in the matter
of Pcblic Improvement District No. 675, and
WHEREAS, because of such fact, it has become necessary
for this Council to appoint another to perform the duties imposed
upon the Street Superintendent by the provisions of the "Improvement
.Act of 1911" and the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", for the purpose
of completing the aforementioned proceedings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that for the purposes of
these proceedings, Harry J. Redfern be and he is hereby appointed
to perform the duties imposed on the Street Superintendent or
Superintendent of Streets by the "Improvement Act of 1911" and the
"Improvement Bond Act of 191~'.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the ~ouncil of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 17th day of April, 1950, by the follow-
ing vote:
