WHEREAS~ L. E..&NDERSON~ Engineerr will have
served the City of Bakersfield as a member of the Fire
Department for a period of 28 years, l0 months and ~ days,
from September 26, 1920; and
WHEREAS, the said L. E..ANDERSON is, on the
2nd day of .August, 1949, eligible for retirement and intends
to leave the service of the City of Bakersfield;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Council
express its appreciation for the long, honest and faithful
service of MR..ANDERSON, and its good wishes to him as
he leaves the public service of the City of Bakersfield.
I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2~th day
of July, 1949, by the following vote:
