Vfii]~EEAS~ MAYOR JAIG~VAISERLEI has been confined
to his home on account of serious illness,,but is re-
ported to be rapidly recovering and will soon be back
at his personal business and official duties.
NOW, THEEFOE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council extend to the N~YOR its best wishes, its pleasure
at his satisfactory recovery, and the hope that he'may
soon return to officiate over its deliberations in his
affable and inimitable manner.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the., 20th day of June, 1949,
by the following vote:
