A RESOLUTION &PPROVING PROPOSE]) AN~X~-
TION OF ID~aBITED TERRITORY.
¥XHER. E&S, certain persons are proposing to circulate
petitions requesting the annexation of certain inhabited terri-
tory to the City of Bakersfield~ said territory being known as
the Sunset-Mayflower District and the Borgwandt-Home Gardens
District~ which districts are more particularly described in the
report of the Planning Commission to the City Council dated Narch 12~
1949~ on'file in the office of the City Clerk~ and
WHEREAS~ the Planning Conmission of the City of Bakersfield~
after investigation~ has recommended that the commencement of
proceedings to annex said territory to the City of Bakersfie!d~
be approved.
NO~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED~ that the City Council of
the City of Bakersfield hereby consents to the commencement of
proceedings and the circulation of petitions for the annexation
of the hereinbefore described territory to the ~ity of Bakersfield.
