~tERE&S, Subsection (e) of Section y of Ordinance Noo
4-24~ New Series, requires in part that at street intersections
which include trunk, major or secondary highways~ intersecting
at an angle of approximately ninety degrees, the block corners
shall be rounded at the property line by a radius of not less than
twenty feet, and
w~fi~.~RE~S, Houchin Development Corporation, subdividers of
Tract No. 1472; has filed a petition with the Planning commission of
the City of Bakersfield, requesting that. an exception be granted,
and that the ]lock corners on F Street in Said tract where said
street intersects with 26th Street, 28th Street and 30th Street in
said tract, be made at an an~le of ninety degrees, and
~.Tf.~RE&S, said Planning Conmission, after due consideration~
has recommended that said exception be authorized~
NOIV~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLV~D, that the recommendation
'of the Planning'Conunission be approved~ and that the exception be
granted subject to the terms and conditions of the report of the
Planning Commission dated i~.~arch ]_4~ 1949, on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
BE IT ~'t'RTI(ER RESOLVED, that said Planning Commission is
hereby authorized to approve the tentative map of said Tract No. !472~
with said exCeption~ and any prior approval of said exception by
said Planning Commission is hereby ratified.
