has requested authority to destroy the public records designated
therein~ and

such destruction, and
~ , such records have served their purpose and are no
longer required ~
N0'jJ~ TiEREFORE~ BE IT ilZSOLV]ZD~ that pursuant to the provisions
of Section !22% of the Goverxent Code of the State of California~
authority is hereby given to the Treasurer and Tax Collector to
destroy the public records designated in his letter of December 2~
~ to this Council
BE IT I,Z'RTiiER i~SOLVED~ that said Treasurer and Tax Collector
is hereby authorized to give to the l[ern Cotmty Historical Society
such of said records as prove to have a historical va!ue~ instead
oi' destroying the same.
