IN TH3 CITY OF B~RSFI~Y~D, C~IFOHNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TiTE. CITY OF
as follows: ·
1. That pursuant to the authority contained in Section 2
of Ordinance No. 795, New Series, of the City of Bakersfie!d,
this Council hereby finds and determines that the orderly flow of
vehicular traffic, the most efficient use of available parking
space and the enforcement of traffic regulations will be facilitated
by the establisbnnent of parking meter zones on the following streets
in the City of Bakersfie!d, and said parking meter zones are hereby
established on said streets:
(a) Both sides of Chester ivenue between Truxtun ~venue
and 21st Street.
(b) Both sides of H Street between 18th and 20th Streets.
(c) Both sides of I Street between 17th and 2!st Streets.
(d) Both sides of K Street between 17th and 21st Streets.
(e) Both sides of 20th Street between H and L Streets.
(f) Both sides of 19th Street between G and L Streets.
(g) Both sides of 18th Street between K and L Streets.
(h) Both sides of 17th .Street between I and I( Streets.
(i) Both sides of 2!st Street' between I and X Streets.
2. ~!1 taxi zones, 16ading zones, passenger loading zones,
bus zones and places where no parking is permitted at any time,
established by the City hvanager pursuant to the provisions of Ordi-
nance ,No. 703~ New Series and the traffic ordinances of ~He City of
Bakersfield, located within the limits of the aforementioned streets
shall not be includ,d in the parking zones hereby established.
3. The City Lianaget shall designate parking meter spaces in
the parking meter zones hereby established 'and shall cause a
parking meter to be installed in each of said parking meter spaces
so designatedr in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 795, Ne~v Series, of~ the City of Bakersfield.
4. The establishment of parking~ zones 'on the streets desig-
nated in Paragraph I hereof, and the operation of the provisions
of Ordinance No. 79~, Nev~ Series, in such zones, shall be'effective
upon the completion of installation of parking meters in such zones
as found and determined by order of the City Nanager.

adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 18th day of October, 19~8, by the fol-
