RESOLUTION OF T}RE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEL~NTAL I.v,7_i~0RA~DIR~ OF AGREESgENT FOR
EXPENDITURE OF GAS T.A]~ .iLLOCATION FOR ~l&JOR CITY STREETS.
WHERE&S, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to
be entered into with the State of California for expenditure
of a portion oi' the gas tax allocation for major city streets
accruing during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1948, on the
installation of traiTic signals at the intersection of Niles
Street and ~aker Street, Route ~7, and
~qEREAS~ the City Council has heard read said agreement
in full and is familiar with the contents thereof~
NOW, TEEFOE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAj~RSFIELD, that said agreement be and the same is
hereby approved and the ~ayor and the City Clerk are directed
to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be
binding upon the city upon its execution by the authorized
officials of the State.
