~ERE&S~ the Council of the City of Bakersfield did~ on the
1st day of December~ 19~7~ pass and adopt a resolution disclaiming
any right~ title and interest in or to any public streets or alleys
within the boundaries therein described~ on the ground that the
same were not and never had been opened to or used by the public~
nor had any offer to dedicate the same been accepted~ and
~VHEREAS~ there was an error in the descriptio~ of the boundaries
of the territory affected by said resolution~ in that the same in-
cluded a street which had been theretofore duly dedicated to public
use.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAI~jERSFIELD~ that the description contained in said resolution of
December 1~ 1947~ be amended to read as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of the City Limits
of the City of Bakersfiel,d with the east line of the Stine
Canal extension right of way; thence proceeding southwesterly
along said east line to its point of intersection with the
north line of 24th Street; thence east along the north line
of 24th Street to the southwest corner of Lot 16 of Block
4~0-C; thence north along the west lin~e of Lot i6. to the
south line of the alley shown extending through s.aid bloCk~;
thence east to the west line of "B" Street; thence north to
the south line of 25th Street; thence east along the south
line of 2~th Street to the northwest corner of'Block 120~
thence north along the east line of "D', Street to the south
line of 26th Street; thence east along the south~ine of 26th
Street to the west line of "G" Street; thence north along the
west line of "G" Street to the north line of 2?th Street~
being the southeast corner of Block D1.8~ thence along the
north line of 27th Street to the west line of "H"; thence
north and northeasterly along the west line of "H~ Street
to its point of intersection with the southwesterly line of
the Southern Pacific Right of Way~ thence nbrth~esterly along
the southerly line of said right of way to the north boundary
line of the City Limits of the City of Bakersfiel.d~ thence
west along said line to the point of beginning of this de-
scription; excepting therefrom, any rights of way acquired
by the State of California fQr highway purposes.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the ~ ay of Narch, 1948, by the follow-
ing vote:
