RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIk~T.D APPROVING MEMORANDUM
OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT
GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STATE HIGHWAYS.
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Depart-
ment of Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented a
memorandum of agreement in accordance with a project statement
submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax
for the 1948. fiscal year allocated for State highways in the City
of~ Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents
of said memorandum of agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAtGRSFI~D, that said agreement for expenditure of the 1/4 cent
gas tax allocated for State highways be and the same is hereby ap-
proved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are directed to sign the
same on behalf of said City.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 29th day of September, 1947~ by the
following vote:
