WHERE&S, JOHN G, KOCH, will have served the
City of Bakersfield as a member of the Fire Department
for a period of 28 years, 9 months and lO days, from the
21st day of August~ 1918~ and
WI~REAS, said JOHN G. ~[OCH is, on June l, 1947,
eligible for retirement and intends to leave the service
of the City of Bakersfield;
NOU, TtL~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this (',~oualcil
express its appreciation for the long' and faithful service
of }~T[{. KOCH, and its good wishes to him as he leaves the
public service of the City.

I }~REBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof hold on the 26th
day of Nay, 1947, by the follovxing vote:
