WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has heretofore been author-
ized by this Council to deposit City funds in banks in accordance
with State law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF B.~ERSFIELD, that one of the following:
City Manager
City Auditor
Deputy City Auditor
together with one of the following:
City Treasurer
Deputy City Treasurer
are hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of
Bakersfield, all checks and any and all other items, documents and
papers pertaining to such account or accounts as are now or shall
hereafter be maintained in any bank or banks by the City Treasurer
for the deposit of funds of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the authority hereby vested
in the above named officers shall remain in effect until revoked
by this Council and notice thereof is given in writing to the bank
or banks wherein such accounts are maintained.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 27th day of January, 1947, by the follow-
ing vote:
