WHEREAS, JANES F. NURPHY ~ will have served
the City of Bakersfield as a member of the Fire Depart-
ment for a period of 24 years and 12 days~ from Nay 4~
1922~ and
WHEREAS, the said J.a~S F. MURPHY is, on Nay 16,
19.$6, eligible for retirement and intends to leave the
service of the City of Bakersfield~
NOWm THEREFOREm BE IT RESOLVED~ that this Council
express its appreciation for the long and faithful service
of ER. =MURPHYm and its good wishes to him as he leaves
the public service of the City.
I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th
day of Nay, 1946, by the followring vote:
