WHEREAS, ROBERT C. KNIGHT has been Chief of Police of the
City of Bakersfield for the past six and one-half months, and
WHEREAS, during the administration of ROBERT C. KNIGHT, the
Police Department has functioned in an efficient manner, and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the people of the City of
Bakersfield are highly appreciative of the work done by ROBERT C.
KNIGHT as Chief of Police of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the City Council
of the City of Bakersfield, go on record as highly commending
ROBERT C. KNIGHT for the capable and efficient manner in which
he has performed the duties of Chief of Police of the City of
Bakersfield during his term of office.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of August, 1945, by
the following vote:
AYES: Carnakis, Cross, Norris,.Ryder, Siemon, Vanderlei, Vercammen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
