TO EECUTE AGREe.gENT FOR THE SALE
OF RARKING i,~,F. TERS, NO. 14-43
WH]ERE~S, the City of Bakersfield, a ~iunicipal
Corporation, is the owner of certain parking meters, standards
and accessories pertaining thereto, and
WIiEREAS, said city no longer has any need for said
meters, standards and accessories, and
~fEREAS, the City of Long Beach, a Municipal Corpora-
tion, has offered to pay $~,~00.00 therefor,
N0'W~ THE'HEFORE~ the City Manager of the City of
Bakersfield, V. Van Riper, is hereby authorized, directed and
empowered to sell said meters, standards and accessories to
said City of Long Beach, for the sum of $~ 500.00, and to ,
execute for and on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, an agree-
ment for the sale of said meters, standards and accessories,

Parking Meter Heads
Extra Heads (damaged)
Pipe Standards (full length)
Pipe Standards (short)
Cast~Iron Collars
Extra Clock
~iscellaneous small parts,
gears, main springs, and
glass for openings.

I EREBY CERTIFY that the f6regoing Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of October,
1943, by the following vote:
