A RESOLUTION DI~I.RECTING THE CITY
MANAGER Ah~) AUDITOR TO CHECK CASH
AND SECURITIES ~ THE OFFICE OF
THE CITY TREASURER.
V~IEREAS, it·is deemed~proper and advisable by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that a cheCk and count of the cash and securities
held in the office of the City Treasurer of the ~City of Bakersfield, be
made within ninety (90) days by than·City Manager and Auditor, following
the semi-annual·audit of the certified public accountant..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, that the City Manager and the Auditor of the City of Bakersfield,
are, and each of them is hereby authorized,.empowered and directed to
check and count all of the cash and securities held in the office of the
City Treasurer of the City of Bakersfield, within ninety (90) days follow-
ing the check and count of the cash and securities by the certified public
accountant employed and authorized by the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield to make a semi-amnual audit of the books and records of said
City. The checking and counting as herein called for shall be made at a
time to be designated by the City Manager, and the City Manager and the
Auditor shall satisfy themselves that the count·made by them is in all
respects correct and they shall reconcile the amount of cash on hand and
securities with the books and records of the City Treasurer.

I HERE. BY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield~ at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 1st day of June,.1943, by the following vote:
