A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK
OF THE CITY OF B~fERSFIELD TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPA~
PERTAINING TO STORk DRAIN CONSTRUCTION NEAR
BEALE AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Company has presented to the
City of Bakersfield a proposed agreement relating to the construc-
tion, installation, and maintenance of a storm drain and appurten-
ances in the limits of certain streets adjacent to the premises
of the Southern Pacific Railway in the vicinity of Beale Avenue
and Jackson Street,
AND WHEREAS, the terms of said proposed agreement are
satisfactory to the City of Bakersfield,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF T}~ CITY
OF BAKER~FIELD that the Mayor and Clerk of said City are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the proposed agreement with
said Southern Pacific Company, in duplicate, and that a copy of
this Resolution be attached to each. counterpart of said proposed
agreement.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the ~
