NO. 9-40
~LGtEREAS, the in~nediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution accept-
ing certain Additions to the Sewage Treatment Plant, identified as
Public V,/orks Administration Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, Contract
No. 6, and authorizing the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield
to sign a Notice of Completion and certify six (6) copies of this
Resolution of Acceptance,
~ND WPIREAS, said Pub].ic ~forks ASministration Project was
approved and a contract let for the construction of Additions to
the Sewage Treatment Plsnt and further identified as Public iVorks
Administration Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, Contract No.
AND V~EREAS, said contract has been performed and said
Additions to Sewage Treatment Plant completed in accordance with the
Plans, Specifications and approved Change 0rde~s, and to the satis-
faction of 'the Council of the City of Bakersfield, California,
N(~:J, TB]EI~FORE~ BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that said
Additions to the Sewage Treatment Plant be and it is hereby accepted
AND BE IT FURTER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Bakersfield be end he is hereby authorized to sign a Notice of'
Completion and certify six (6) copies of the above Emergency
Resolution of Acceptazcev
This Resolution shall take effect from and after its
pass age and approval.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Emergency Resolution
of Acceptance ~,vas passed and adopted by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the ~+~ day of
