Whereas, the ~.diate preservation of the public
peace, property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the
City of Bakersfield require the passage of a resolution ac-
cepting the Sewage Treatment Plant identified as Public Works
Administration Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, Contract No. 3, waiving
liquidated damages during the time between Contract completion
date and the date of the adoption of acceptance, and authorizing
the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield to sign a Notice of
Completion and certify five copies of this Resolution of Ac-
ceptance,
And Whereas, said Public Works Administration Project
was approved and a contract let for the construction of a Sewage
Treatment Plant and further identified as Public Works Administra-
tion, Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, Contract No. 8,
And Whereas, said contract has been performed and said
Sewage Treatment Plant completed in accordance with the Plans,
Specifications and approved Change Orders, and to the. satisfac-
tion of the Council of the City of Bakersfield, California,
Now, Therefore Be It Resolved and ordered that said
Sewage Treatment Plant be and it is hereby accepted as of _

And Be It Further Resolved that the liquidated damages
incurred during the time between Contract completion date and the
date of the adoption of the acceptance be and the same is hereby
waived, and no damages assessed and that the City Clerk of the
City of Bakersfield be and he is hereby authorized to sign a
Notice of Completion and certify five copies of the above Reso-
lution of Acceptance.
This Resolution shall take effect from aud after its
passage and approval.
I Hereby Certify that the foregoing Emergency Reso-
lution was passed and adopted by the Council ef the City of
Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the
day of November, 19S9, by the fellowing vote:
