AN E},~ERGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT FUNDS FOR Th]E
AMOUNT OF CERTAIN ITEMS LISTED IN CHANGE ORDER N0.14
CONTRACT N0. S, BE SET ASIDE FRO~I FUNDS AVAIL~_BIE IN
THE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT OF P.W.A. DOCKET NO. CALIF. 1892-F
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Bah-
ersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution providing
that certain changes, as shown on Change Order No. 14, Contract
No. S, be made in the construction acco~mt of P. W. A- Docket
No. Calif. 1892-F,
AND V~EREAS, certain chmges in items in Contract No. S,
Sewage Treatment Plant, P. W. A- Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, are, in
the opinion of the City of Bakersfield both desirable and essen-
tial,
AND WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth such changes is
required by the regulations of the Federal Emergency Administration
of Public Works,
N(~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
1. That Items listed on Change Order No. 14 totaling
in cost the amount of Three Hundred Eighty Six Dollars and Twenty
five Cents ($388.25) be provided for from funds available in the
construction account of Docket No. Calif. 1892-F to be used for
such purpose.
AND BE IT FURTKER RESOLVED, that the City of Bakersfield
request, and hereby so requests the approval of the Federal Admini-
stration of Public Works Authority to m~e such expenditures for
the items and purposes mentioned in said Change Order No. 14 of
P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F~
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.
I EREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolu-
tion was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field on the 2nd day of October, 1939, at a regular meeting there-
of, by the following vote:
