WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of~thepublic peace,
property, safety and welfare e~l~the inhabitants of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution accept-·
ing the installation and furnishing of Fire Alarm Equipment in
Central Fire Station identified as Public Works Administration
Docket No. Calif. 20~6-F, under Contract Number'~ with The Gamewell
Company, waiving the time between contract completion.date andsthe
date of the adoption ofacceptanCe, and authorizing the City Clerk
of the City of Bakersfield to sign a Notice of Completion and certify
two copies of this Resolutionof Acceptance,
AND WHEREAS, said Public Works Administration Project was
approved and a contract let for the installation and furnishing. of
Fire Alarm Equipment in CentralFire Station and further-identified
as Public Works Administration Docket No. Calif. 2036-F, Contract
Number ~,
· AND WHEREAS, said contraCt has been performed and. said
Central Fire Station has been installed with Fire Alarm Equipment
in accordance with the Specifications and approved Change Orders,
and to the satisfaction of the'City Council of the City of Bakers-
field, California, thus completing the entire docket,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED A~ ORDERED that said
installation and furnishing of Fire Alarm Equipment in Central Fire
Station be and it is hereby accepted as of September// , 1939,
completing acceptance of Docket No,. Calif. 2036-F,
AND BE IT FURTER RESOLVED, that the' time between the·
contract completion date and the date of the adoption of the .accept-
ance be and the same is hereby waived, and no damages assessed, and
that the'City Clerk of the City of Bakersfieldbe and he is hereby
authorized to sign a Notice of Completion and certify two copies
of the above Resolution of Acceptance.
This resolution shall take·effect from and .after its passage
and approval.'
