AN EL~:ERGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE
EMPLOYMENT OF A CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR
UNDER P.W.A. DOCKET N0. CALIF. 2036-F.'
WHEREAS, I the i__mmediate preservation of the. public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Bakers-
field require the passage of an emergency resolution providing for the
employment of a Construction Inspector under P.W.A. DocketNoo Calif.
2036-F, ..
AND WHEREAS, it is neCessary'and expedient for the City
of.Bakersfield toemploy a Construction Insp. ector ia connection with
the construction of Central Fire Station, covered by P.W.A. Docket
No. Calif. 2036-F,
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE iT' RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD that Paul Sackett be employed for a 'periOd of not to
exceed one (1) month, beginning AUgust 1,.1939, at the'rate of one
hundred and twenty-five ($125.00)~ dollars per month, to act as
ConstructiOn Inspector for the City'of Bakersfield on P.W.A. Docket
No. Calif. 2036-F. "
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval. ..

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolution
was passed and adopted by' theCouncil of the. City of Baker.sfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the day of August, 1939, by
