AN E~GENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE
TRANSFER OF A CERTAIN Ai~0B~T FROM ITEM 7.
MISCELLANEOUS, TO ITEM 3. CONSTRUCTION, OF
DOCKET NO. CALIF. 2036-F FOR COi~LETION OF
PROPOSED CONTRACTS NOS. 3 AND 4.
· . WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of. the City of Bakers-
field require the passage of an emergency resolution providing that a
certain'amount to have beenexpended under Item 7. Miscellaneous of P.W.A.
Docket No. Calif. 2056-F be transferred to funds.available under Item
5. Construction of P.W.A. Docket No. Calif. 2056'F, because there is
insufficient money under Item 5. Construction for the completion of
Proposed Contract No. 51 and Proposed Contract No. 4 under P.W.A. Docket
No. Calif. 2056-F,
NOW, THEREFOR~, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL '0F THE CITY
OF BAKERSI~IELD, as follows: :
That the total amount of fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00)
as yet unexpended, which has been allotted to Item 7. Miscellaneous of
P.W.A. Docket No. Calif. 2056-F, be transferred to the funds available
under Item 5. Construction of P.W.A. Docket No. Calif. 2056-F, for the
completion of Proposed Contract No.-5, Proposed Contract No. 4,. and
such other items as may be required. :.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Bakersfield
requests~ and hereby so requests~ the approval of the Federal Administra-
tion of Public Worksto make said transfer of funds in P.W.A. Docket
No. Calif. 2056-F.

passage and approval. "

'I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council .of the City 0f Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof, held on the/~Pf~day of July,~1939, by
