A RESOLUTION REQUESTING EXTENS'ION OF DOCKJET

WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety, health end welfare of the inhabitants of the
City of Bakersfield require the passage of a resolution to peti-
tion the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works to ex-
tend the docket time under P.W.A. Docket: Califo 1892-F for a
period of three (S) calendar months beginning August l, 1939,
said emergency existing due to the short period of time remain-
ing m~der the above mentioned docket and the inability of the
Contractor to complete Contract No. 3 of Docket: Calif. 1892-F
in the time allotted to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
That the City of Bakersfield request and hereby so
requests an extension of Docket time in the amount of three
calendar months beginning August l, 19S9, under P.W.A. Docket:
Calif~ 1892-F.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolu-
tion was passed end adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field at a regular meeting thereof, held on the _~;~'/t. day of
July, 1989, by the following vote:
