DOCET N0. CALIFORNIA 2036-F.
~vjEREAS, an emergency resolution passed, by the City Council
of the City of Bakersfield, California, on. March 13, 1939, was dis-
approvedby the'Federal Emergency:Administration of Public Works and
it is now necessary to amend said resolution to comply with requests
stated herein, and
WHEREAS, the immediate preserVation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Bak-
ersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution providing
that certain items listed on Change Order ~3 be set aside from funds
available in the construction account of the P.W.A. Docket No. Calif.
2036-F, and
WiiEREAS certain items in the Central Fire 'Station, P-W-A-
· Docket No'. Calif. 2036-F are in.the opinion of the 0vmer both desirable
and essential,'and
WHEREAS the Federal Emergency Administration of Public ¥orks
requires a bronze memorial plaque to be erected on Project Docket No.
Calif. 2036-F (Change Order #4), and
V~TEEEAS a resolution .sett'ing.forth such requirements is re-
quired by the regulations of the Federal ~uergency Administration of
Public Works,
· 'NOW~ Tk~E~EFORE, BE IT XESOLVED BY THE C0[I~CiL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
That the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1 500.00) be
transferred from Eiscellaneous (#7) to ConstructiOn (~3) in the finan-
cial report (copy of which is herewith attached) and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the certain items as listed on
Change Order #3 - totaling a cost of Seven Hundred Thirty One Dollars
and Fifty-one Cents (~V31.51) - be set aside from funds available in
the construction account of Docket No. Calif. 2036-F to .be used for
such purpose,
AND BE IT FURTKF~R RXSOL~ED that bronze memorial plaque
listed on Change Order #4 - totaling a-cost of One Hundred Sixty Seven
Dollars and Thirty-ttmree Cents (~)16V.33) - be set aside from.funds
available in.the construction account of Docket No. Calif. 2.036.F to
be used for such purpose,
AND BE IT FDtTFfiER RESOLVED that"the 0vmer request and does
hereby so-request the approval of the. Federal Emergency Administration
of Public Works to make such expenditure for the items and purpose
'mentioned in'Change Orders #3 and#4 of P.~.A. Docket No. California
2036-F. '.
This resolution shall take effect from ahd after its
passage and approval~ -
· I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council .of the City of Bakersfield
