AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT FUNDS FOR THE
AMOUNT OF CERTAIN ITR~S LISTED IN CHANGE ORDER NO. A,
CONTRACT NO. S, BE SET ASIDE FFOM FUNDS AVAILABLE IN
THE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT OF P.W.A. DOCKET N0. CALIF. 1892-F.
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitsnts of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution pro-
viding that certain changes, as shown on Change Order No. 4,
Contract No. 3, be made in the construction account of P. W. A.
Docket No. Calif. 1892-F,
AND WHEREAS, certain changes in items in Contract No. 3,
Sewage Treatment Plant, P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, are,
in the opinion of the City of Bakersfield both desireable and
essential,
AND WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth such changes
is required by the regulations of the Federal Emergency Admini-
stration of Public Works,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
1. That certain items listed as Nos. I to 7 inclusive,
on Change Order No. 4 totaling in cost the amount of No Dollars
and Sixteen Cents ($0.18) be provided for from funds available
in the construction account of Docket No. Calif. 18~2-F to be
used for such purpose.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Bakers-
field request, and hereby so requests the approval of the
Federal Administration 'of Public Works Authority to make such
expenditures for the items and purposes mentioned in said
Change Order No. 4 of P. W. A. Docket No. Caiif. 1892-F.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolu-
tion was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field on the ~ ~ay of May, 1939, at a regular meeting
thereof, by the following vote:
