AN EMERGEi~CY RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR T~TE
ENPLOYI~%EI~T OF A CONSTRUCTI0~M INSPECTOR
UNDER P.W.A. DOCKET N0. CALIF. 2038-F.
~EREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of Bakers-
field require the passage of an emergency resolution providing for the
employment of a Construction Inspector under P.W.A. Docket-No. Calif.
2036-F,
AND WHEREAS, it is necessary and expedient for the City
of Bakersfield to employ a Construction Inspector in connection
with the construction of a Central Fire Station, covered by P.W.A.
Docket No. Calif. 2036-F,
NOW, THEREFOHE, BE IT HE30LVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAK~SFIELD that Paul Sackett be employed for a period of not to
exceed three (3) months, beginning May 1, 1939, at the rate of one
hundred and twenty-five ($125.00) dollars per month, to act as
Construction Inspector for the City of Bakersfield on P.~.A. Docket
No. Calif. 2036-F.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of May, 1939, by the
following vote:
