AN E~ERGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT F~NDS FOR THE
AMOUNT OF CERTAIN ITDI~ LISTED IN CHANGE ORDER NO. 3,
CONTRACT NO. 2, BE SET ASIDE F~OM FUNDS AVAILABLE IN
THE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT OF P.W.A. DOCKET N0. CALIF. 1892-F.
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety aud welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution pro-
viding that certain changes, as shown on Change Order No. S,
Contract No. 2, be made in the construction account of P. W. A.
Docket No. Calif. 1892-F,
AND WEEREAS, certain changes in items in Contract No. 2,
Sewage Pumping Station, P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, are,
in the opinion of the City of Bakersfield both desireable and
essential,
AND Vv~EEREAS, a resolution setting forth such changes
is required by the regulations of the Federal Emergency Admini-
stration of Public Works,
NG~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIE, as follows:
1. That certain items listed as No. i to 3 inclusive,
on Change Order No. 3 totaling in cost the amount of One Hundred
Twenty Nine Dollars and Forty Cents ($129.40) be provided for
from funds available in the construction account of Docket No.
Calif. 1892-F to be used for such purpose.
AND BE IT FLRTHER RESOLVED that the .City of Bakers-
field request, and hereby so requests the approval of the
Federal Administration of Public Works Authority to make such
expenditures for the items and purposes mentioned in said
Change Order No. S of P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolu-
tion was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field on the /Z~/~ day of April 1989, at a regular meeting
thereof, by the follo~jving vote:
