AN D~ERGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT FUNDS FOR THE
ANOUNT OF CERTAIN ITk~S LISTED IN CHANGE ORDER N0. 1,
CONTRACT N0. S BE SET ASIDE FROM FUNDS AVAILABLE IN
THE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT OF P.W.A. DOCKET NO.CALIF. 1892-F
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution pro-
viding that certain changes, as shown on Change Order No. l,
Contract No. S, be made in the construction account of P. W. A-
Docket No. Calif. 189~-F,
AND V~rHEREAS, certain changes in items in Contract No. B,
Sewage Treatment Plant, P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, are, in
the opinion of the City of Bakersfield both desireable and es-
sential,
AND V~TER]EAS, a resolution setting forth such changes
is required by the regulations of the Federal Emergency Admini-
stration of Public Works,
NOW, THEEFOE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
1. That certain items listed as Nos. i and 2 on Chsnge
Order No. l, totaling in cost the amount of Six Hundred Twelve
Dollars and Fifty Cents ($812.80) be provided for from funds
available in the construction account of Docket No. Calif.189E-F
to be used for such purpose.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Bakers-
field request, and hereby so requests the approval of the
Federal Administration of Public Works authority to make such
expenditures for the items and purposes mentioned in said
Change Order No. i of P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F.
This resolution shall take effect f½om and after its
passage and approval.

I MEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolu-
tion was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field on the 9d)=~day of March 1989, at a regular meeting
thereof, by the following vote:
