AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT THE'AMOUNTS
TO HAVE BEEN EXPENDED OF CERTAIN ITE~IIS LISTED ON
CHANGE ORDER #2, CONTRACT No. 1, BE RETURNED TO FUNDS
AVAILABLE iN THE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT OF DOCKET
N0. CALIF. 1892-F
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public
peace, property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the
City of Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency
resolution providing that certain changes, as shown on Change
Order No. 2, Contract No. 1, be made in the construction
account of P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F,
AND t~FREAS, certain changes in items in Contract
No. l, Sanitary ~ain Sewer, P. W. A. Docket No. Cslif. 1892-F
are, in the opinion of the City of Bakersfield both desireable
and essential,
AND V~EREAS, a resolution setting forth such changes
is required by the regulations of the Federal E~ergency Admini-
stration of Public Works,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 0F THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
1. That certain items listed as #l, 2, 8 and ~ on Change
Order No. 2, totaling in cost the amount of Twenty Eight Dollars
and Sixty Seven Cents (~i28.8V), be provided for from funds
available in the constructio~ account of Docket No. Calif. 1892-F
to be used for such purpose.
2. That certain items listed as #8, V and 8 on Change Order
No. 2,~ totaling in cost the amount of Two Thousand Four Hundred
Thirty Four Dollars (i~2,~.00), be returned to the construction
account of Docket No. Calif. 1892-F.
3. That the net amount to be returned~to the construction
fund is Two Thousand Four Hundred Five Dollars and Thirty Three
Cents. (~2,405.~).
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Bakersfield
request, and hereby so requests theapproval of the Federal Ad-
ministration of Public Works Authority to make such expenditures
and return of funds for the items and purposes mentioned in'said
Change Order #2 of P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY_ that the foregoing Emergency Resolu-
tion was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield on the/~ day of March 1939, at a regular
meeting thereof, by the following vote:
