AN D~RGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT FUNDS FOR TH~
AMOUNT OF CERTAIN ITMv[S LISTED IN CHANGE ORDER N0. 2,
CONTRACT N0.2 BE SET ASIDE FR0~I FUNDS AVAILABLE IN
TEE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNT OF P.W.A. DOCKET NO.CALIF.1892-F
V~IEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution pro-
viding that certain changes, as shown on Change Order No. 2,
Contract No. 2, be made in the construction account of P. W. A.
Docket No. Calif. 1892-F,
AND HWEREAS, certain changes in items in Contract No. 2,
Sewage Pumping Station, P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 1892-F, are, in
the opinion of the City of Bakersfield both desireable and es-
sential,
AND WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth such changes
is required by the regulations of the Federal Emergency Admini-
stration of Public Works,
NOW, TKEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
1. That certain items listed as #l to l0 inclusive, on
Change Order No. 2 totaling in cost the mount of Six Hundred
Ninety Eight Dollars aud Fifty Nine Cents ($898.59) be provided
for from funds available in the construction account of Docket
No. Calif. 1892-F to be used for such purpose.
AND BE IT MIRTHER RESOLVED that the City of Bakers-
field request, and hereby so requests the approval of the
Federal Administration of Public Works Authority to 'make such
expenditures for the items and purposes mentioned in said
Chsnge Order No. B of P. W. A. Docket No. Calif. 189B-F.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolu-
tion was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers-
field on the./~t day of ~arch 198~, at a regular meeting
thereof, by the following vote:
