AN E~,~ERGENCY RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE
E~LOYNENT OF A CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR
UNDER P.W.A. DOCKET N0. CALIF. 2056-F.
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safet~ and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution pro-
viding for the employment of a Construction Inspector under P.W.A.
Docket No. Cal~f. 2056-F,
AND WHEREAS, it is necessary and expedient for the City
of Bakersfield to employ a Construction Inspector in connection
with the construction of a Central Fire Station, covered by P.W.A.
Docket No. Calif. 20~6-F,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAF~RSFIELD that W. J. Thomas be employed for a period of
not to exceed four (4) months, beginning December 28, 1938, at
the rate of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per month, to
act as Construction Inspector for the City of Bakersfield on P.W.A.
Docket No. Calif. 2036-F.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolution
was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 2Vth day of December, 1958,
by the following vote:
