AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION GUARANTEEING PAY~IENT
BY Tk~E CITY OF BAKERSFIELD OF COSTS NECESSARY
TO COMPETE CONSTRUCTION OF A CENTRAL FIE
STATION UNDER P.W.A. DOCKET N0. CALIF. 2056-F.
WHEREAS, the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Bakersfield require the passage of an emergency resolution guarantee-
ing that all costs other than those to be contributed by the Federal
Emergency Administration of Public Works will be paid by the City
of Bakersfield for completion of Central Fire Station in the City
of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, to be con-
structed under P.W.A. Docket No. Calif. 2036-F,
NOW, TEEFOE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
That the City of Bakersfield hereby guarantees that all
costs other than those to be contributed by the Federal Emergency
Administration of Public Works, necessary for completion of said
Central Fire Station, will be borne by the City of Bakersfield
to insure completion of the project, ready for operation, in accord-
ance with regulations Of the Federal Emergency Administration of
Public Works.
This resolution shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Resolution
was passed and adoptedby the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the/L~ay of December, 1958,
