B]~ IT RESOLVED BY THE COTH~CIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSPIELD~
as follows:
That it has ascertained the general prevailing rate of
per diem wages in the locality of said City of Bakersfield for
classes or types of work needed to execute contracts on public
works in accordance with Section 1VVO of the Labor Code of the
State of California, to be as follows=

The rate for any employee not covered in the above schedule shall be
the general prevailin~ wa~e and shall not be less than seventy-two
(~.V2) cents per hour.
Overtime work (except ~:fatchmen and Guards) and work on the follow-
ing days shall be paid for at double the above rates: New Year's
Day, Decoration Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Admission Day,
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Sundays.
