HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 15-37RESOLUTION NO. 15-37 WHEREAS, on the 16th day of August, 193V, there was established an Industrial Road Camp in the County of Kern by virtue of the provisions of Statutes 1921, Page 1615 (Act 3893, Deerings General LawA); and WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield is desirous of taking advantage of Section V of said Act, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE, that the City of Bakers- field desires to have its prisoners cared for in the Kern County Industrial Road Camp; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Bakersfield pay to the County of Kern the sum of fifty cents (50~) per day for each prisoner who shall serve time in the Kern County Industrial Road Camp for violation of an ordinance of the City of Bakers- field; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Kern County Board of Supervisors. ..... o0o .....
