WHEKEAS, it is necessar~y and expedient for the City of
Bakersfield to employ a Consulting Sanitary Engineer in connec-
tion with the work on the sewage disposal plant at the City Sewer
Famn to consult with the city officials with reference to said
sewage disposal system and incidental matters pertaining to the
general health conditions in the City of Bakersfield,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield that CLYDE C. EENNEDY be employed for a period not
to exceed five (5) months, beginning July 1, 193V, at the sum of
two hundred ($200.00) dollars per month to act as Consulting
Sanitary Engineer fop the City of Bakersfield;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that he be paid the necessary
expenses including traveling expenses and living expenses, not to
exceed one hundred and fifty ($150.00) dollars.

I HEREBY CERTIH that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular
