BE IT Ri']SOLVED by the Cotu~cil of the City of Bakers- field that -it hereby determines that the public interest demands the acquisition of Blocks forty'three (43) and forty-eight (48) of the Southern Addition to tk.e City- of Bakersfield, according to that certain map entitled "l~lap of the City of Bakersfield, Kern County, California~' filed in the office of the County Recorder of Kern County November 25, 1898, for park purposes, ~t the esth~ated cost of ~~.__ dollars; AND BE IT i~Tt-Oi;R:RESOLVED that the pu]nlic interest demsxds the construction and completion of a swimming pool in each of the follow~.ng parks in the City of Bakersfield: Beale Park, Central Park, and Jefferson Park, snd that the estimated cost of dollars; AND BE iT ]:,'~RTK~R RESOLVED that the cost of said acquisitions and improvements will be too great to be paid out of the annual income and revenue of. the City of Bakers field, and it will be necessary to incur a bonded indebtedness for the purposes set forth in this resolution. ..... o0o .....
